NewtaxaofthoracicancirripedesarerecordedfromtheEoceneMoClayofnorthwestJutland,Denmark,namelyStipilepasmolerensisCarrioln.gen.,n.sp.,ascalpelliformgooseneckbarnacle,andPlesiobrachylepasjutlandicaCarrioln.gen.,n.sp.,abrachylepadomorphsessileform.ThismaterialisofimportanceinthattheformernotonlyrepresentsthefirstextinctexampleofthetribeAshinkailepadini,italsoisthesecondfossilneolepadine,whilethelatteraddstothediversityofthefamilyBrachylepadidae,whichpreviouslyembracedonlythreegenera.Thegeologicalcontextofthesetaxaisoutlinedandtheirphylogeneticinterestdiscussed.
