【 摘 要 】

Thirtyechinoidspecies(18regularand12irregular)andanundeterminedspeciesbelongingto14generaarestudiedfromtheTuronian-Santoniansequence(14speciesfromTuronian,twospeciesfromTuronian-Santonianand14speciesfromConiacian-Santonian)ofAbuRoash,WadiDakhlandWadiAbuQaada,Egypt.Twonewspeciesareestablished:Thylechinus(Thylechinus)sinaiensisn.sp.fromtheTuronianofWadiAbuQaadaandToxasterdakhlensisn.sp.fromtheTuronianofWadiDakhl.Orthopsisovata(Coquand,1862),whichisknowninotherpartsoftheTethyanregion,isreportedforthefirsttimefromEgypt.Therankofonesubspeciesisraisedtospecieslevel:Coenholectypusroachensis(Fourtau,1914)n.stat.Thegenericnameofthreespeciesischanged:EchinobrissushumeiFourtau,1906ischangedtoPetalobrissushumei(Fourtau,1906)n.comb.;Periasterduncani(Fourtau,1906)andPeriasterroachensisGauthier,1900aretransferedtothegenusMecasterPomel,1883.TheontogeneticchangesofMecasterturonensis(Fourtau,1921)aredescribed.Thebiostratigraphyandpaleobiogeographyofthefaunaarediscussed.
