Thispaperisconcernedwithaclassoffourth-ordernonlineardifferenceequations.Bymakinguseofthecriticalpointtheory,weestablishvarioussetsofsufficientconditionsforthenonexistenceandexistenceofsolutionsformixedboundaryvalueproblemandgivesomenewresults.Resultsobtainedgeneralizeandcomplementtheexistingones.
