AnoptimalcontrolproblemforthewaveequationwithDirichletboundaryconditions,initialdatain(L^{2}(Omega)imesH^{-1}(Omega))andinput(mu)onanunknowninteriorsurface,isstudied.Usingcontroltechniquesandthegeneralizedgradients,feedbacklawsforanapproximatingsystemyieldingthesupportoftheRadonmeasure(,mu)fromobservedvaluesofthesolutioninafixedsubregion,areestablished.
