Let$G$beaconnectedsemisimplelinearalgebraicgroupoveranalgebraicallyclosedfield$k$and$P,subset,G$aparabolicsubgroupwithoutanysimplefactor.Let$V$beanirreducible$P$--moduleand$E_P(V)=(GimesV)/P$theassociatedvectorbundleover$G/P$.Weprovethat$E_P(V)$isstablewithrespecttoanypolarizationon$G/P$.Incite{Um}thiswasprovedundertheassumptionthatthecharacteristicof$k$iszeroandthequestionwasaskedwhetheritremainsvalidwhenthecharacteristicispositive.
