【 摘 要 】
Weconsiderthepossibilityofpopulationinversioninastrophysicalobjectsirradiatedbyhigh-intensityblack-bodyradiationfromanearbysource.Asamodel,weusethe1s2p$$^{1}$$P$$_{1}$$populationsinhelium-likeions,whicharegeneratedbyK-shellphotoionizationoflithium-likeions.Ourconclusionisthatthepresentlyknownhighestastrophysicalirradiationconditionsareinsufficienttoproducepopulationinversionforthistransition.Accordingtoourestimate,populationinversionispossibleonlyinthevisibleorlongerwavelengthregimes.Ourestimatesmaychangefornon-black-bodyradiationdistributions.
