Wesurveyed291MSX/2 MASSinfraredobjectsinthe$$7^{circ}!imes2^{circ}$$areaofthegalacticcenterinthe43 GHzSiO$$J=1hbox{--}0v=1$$and2maserlines,obtainingaccurateradialvelocitiesof163detectedobjects.ThesurveyedareaistheregionwheretheIRAScatalogisincompleteduetocontaminationbyhighsourcedensity.TheobjectsinthepresentMSX/2 MASSsamplewerechosentohavesimilarinfraredcharacteristicstothoseofthepreviousSiO-maser-surveysamplesbasedonthecolor-selectedIRASsources.Thesamplingbasedonthe2 MASScatalogcausesabiastotheforesideobjectsofthebulgeduetoheavyobscurationbyinterstellardust;thedetectionsconsiderablyleanedonthe$$V_{mathrm{lsr}}lt;0$$side.The$$lhbox{--}V$$diagramrevealstwoconspicuousfeatures,whichwerenotpresentortenuousinthepreviousstudies:onefeatureindicatingalinearvelocityincreasewithlongitudewith$$vertlvertlt;{1lap{.}{}^{mathrm{circ}}5}$$,whichislikelytobeassociatedwiththeinnerbar,andtheotherfeaturehavingconsiderablyeccentricvelocities,morethanthoseofthenormal$$x_1$$-orbitfamilyfeature.Theextinction-corrected$$K$$magnitudes(ifusedasadistancemodulus)tendtoshowasequentialdepositionoftheseobjectsalongthelineofsighttowardthegalacticcenter,dependingontheirradialvelocities.Thetendencythatappearedinthedistancemeasuresisconsistentwiththebulge–bardynamicalmodelutilizingtheperiodicorbitfamiliesinthebarpotential.【 授权许可】
