【 摘 要 】

WeproposeanewscenariofordiskevolutionduringthequiescenceofWZSge-typedwarfnovaeandX-raynovae.Aholecreatedbyevaporationoftheinnerdiskmaterialsteadilyexpandstowardslargerradii,eventuallyremovingthermallyunstableportionsofthedisk.Thediskis,however,notinasteadystate,sinceacertainamountofangularmomentumiscontinuouslybroughtinbyanincomingstream,whereasangular-momentumlossesduetotheevaporationandtothetidalactionbyacompanionstararelikelytobesmallinthequiescence.Accordingly,thetotalangularmomentumofthediskmonotonicallyincreases,whereasanincreaseinthediskmassissomewhatslowerbecauseofthemassevaporation.Thisresultsinanexpansionofthediskandanaccumulationofmassintheoutermostpartofthedisk.Thequiescencewillbeterminatedifathermalinstabilityisignitedbeforethediskexpandstothecriticalradiusforthe3:1resonancebetweenKeplerandorbitalangularfrequencies.Ifnot,superhumpsareexpectedduringquiescence.
