【 摘 要 】
Thefirstmeasurementsofsubmillimeter-waveatmosphericopacityspectraatthePampalaBolasite(NorthernChile,Atacama,4800maltitude)havebeenperformedduringthewinterseasonusingaFouriertransformspectrometer(FTS).Atmosphericemissionspectra,asafunctionofairmass,weremeasuredundervariousweatherconditions.Atmosphericopacitywasevaluatedfromskytemperatureatthezenithaswellasfromtippingmeasurements,whichareindependentmeasuresbutgiveconsistentresults.Correlationdiagramsbetween220GHzand345GHz,410GHz,492GHz,675GHz,691GHz,809GHz,875GHzareshown.Correlationsbetweenmillimeter-waveandsubmillimeter-waveopacitiesgetworsewhen220GHzopacityislargerthan0.1.Deviationsfromtheopacitycorrelationateachfrequencyshowgoodcorrelationsthemselves,buthavedifferentrelativevariationsateachfrequency.Thisindicatesthatatmospherictransparencycannotbecharacterizedonlybymillimeter-waveopacity,butrequiressimultaneousopacitymeasurementsatmillimeterandsubmillimeter-wavelengths.
