【 摘 要 】
Thewesternflowerthrips(WFT),Frankliniellaoccidentalis,aworld-wideinvasiveinsect,causesagriculturaldamagebydirectlyfeedingandbyindirectlyvectoringTospoviruses,suchasTomatospottedwiltvirus(TSWV).WecharacterizedthetranscriptomeofWFTandanalyzedglobalgeneexpressionofWFTresponsetoTSWVinfectionusingIlluminasequencingplatform.Wecompiled59,932unigenes,andidentified36,339unigenesbysimilarityanalysisagainstpublicdatabases,mostofwhichwereannotatedusinggeneontology(GO)andKyotoEncyclopediaofGenesandGenomes(KEGG)analysis.Withintheseannotatedtranscripts,wecollected278sequencesrelatedtoinsecticideresistance.GOandKEGGanalysisofdifferentexpressiongenesbetweenTSWV-infectedandnon-infectedWFTpopulationrevealedthatTSWVcanregulatecellularprocessandimmuneresponse,whichmightleadtolowvirustitersinthripscellsandnodetrimentaleffectsonF.occidentalis.Thisdata-setnotonlyenrichesgenomicresourceforWFT,butalsobenefitsresearchintoitsmoleculargeneticsandfunctionalgenomics.
