【 摘 要 】

Herewehaveidentified120genedeletionmutantsthataresensitiveto0.4#xA0;McalciuminSaccharomycescerevisiae.Twenty-sevenofthesemutantsareofgenesinvolvedinthevacuolarproteinsortingpathway,includingthoseencodingthesevencomponentsoftheESCRTcomplexes,andtenofthemencodethecomponentsandassemblyfactorsofthevacuolarH+-ATPase.BothMediatorandPaf1complexesmodulatingtheactivityofthegeneraltranscriptionmachineryareinvolvedinthecalciumsensitivityofyeastcells.Mostofthesemutantsshowelevatedintracellularcalciumcontentsinresponsetocalciumstress.Thecalciumsensitivityof106mutantscanbecompletelysuppressedby10#xA0;mMMg2+,56ofwhichcanalsobesuppressedbytheinhibitorofcalcineurin,cyclosporineA.Therefore,thecalciumsensitivityofnearlyahalfofthese120mutationsisatleastpartiallyduetotheactivationofcalcineurinandcanbemodulatedbymagnesiumion.
