【 摘 要 】
Somitesformbyaniterativeprocessfromunsegmented,presomiticmesoderm(PSM).Notchpathwaycomponents,suchasdeltaC(dlc)havebeenshowntoplayaroleinthisprocess,whiletheT-boxtranscriptionfactorsNtlaandTbx16regulatesomiteformationupstreamofthisbycontrollingsupplyandmovementofcellsintothePSMduringgastrulationandtailbudoutgrowth.Inthiswork,wereportthatNtlaandTbx16playamoreexplicitroleinsegmentationbydirectlyregulatingdlcexpression.Inadditionwedescribeacis-regulatorymodule(CRM)upstreamofdlcthatdrivesexpressionofareporterinthetailbud,PSMandsomitesduringsomitogenesis.ThisCRMisboundbybothNtlaandTbx16ataclusterofT-boxbindingsites,whicharerequiredincombinationforactivationoftheCRM.
