【 摘 要 】

DuringDrosophilaoogenesis,theformationoftheeggrespiratoryappendagesandthemicropylerequiretheshapingofanterioranddorsalfolliclecells.Priortotheirmorphogenesis,cellsofthepresumptiveappendagesaredeterminedbyintegratingdorsal–ventralandanterior–posteriorpositionalinformationprovidedbytheepidermalgrowthfactorreceptor(EGFR)andDecapentaplegic(Dpp)pathways,respectively.Weshowherethatanothersignalingpathway,theDrosophilaJun-N-terminalkinase(JNK)cascade,isessentialforthecorrectmorphogenesisofthedorsalappendagesandthemicropyleduringoogenesis.MutantfolliclecellclonesofmembersoftheJNKpathway,includingDJNKK/hemipterous(hep),DJNK/basket(bsk),andDjun,blockdorsalappendageformationandaffectthemicropyleshapeandsize,suggestingalaterequirementfortheJNKpathwayinanteriorchorionmorphogenesis.Insupportofthisview,hepdoesnotaffectearlyfolliclecellpatterningasindicatedbythenormalexpressionofkekkon(kek)andBroad-Complex(BR-C),twoofthetargetsoftheEGFRpathwayindorsalfolliclecells.Furthermore,theexpressionoftheTGF-βhomologdpp,whichisunderthecontrolofhepinembryos,isnotcoupledtoJNKactivityduringoogenesis.Weshowthathepcontrolstheexpressionofpuckered(puc)inthefollicularepitheliuminacell-autonomousmanner.SincepucoverexpressionintheeggfollicularepitheliummimicsJNKappendagesandmicropylephenotypes,itindicatesanegativeroleofpucintheirmorphogenesis.TheroleoftheJNKpathwayinthemorphogenesisoffolliclecellsandotherepitheliaduringdevelopmentisdiscussed.
