【 摘 要 】

AcompletemoultnorthoftheSaharahasneverbeenreportedconclusivelyintheReedWarblerAcrocephalusscirpaceuscomplex.DuringaringingprogramcarriedoutintheSmirmarshes(northernMorocco)140adultsand292juvenileReedWarblerswereexaminedduringfourautumnsintheperiod2004–2008.Ofthesebirds,8.9%ofjuvenileswereeitherinactivemoult(n=17)orhadcompletedmoult(n=9)and48.6%ofadultswereeitherinactivemoult(n=32)orcompletelymoulted(n=22).Atleastsomeofthemoultingbirdswereoflocalorigin(i.e.Smirbreedingpopulation),since14malesandonefemalewerecapturedinautumnandlaterrecapturedinspringshowingsignsofbreedingactivity,orcapturedinspringandrecapturedmoultinginautumn.Also,onejuvenilecapturedinMaywasrecapturedinNovemberwhilemoulting.Capturehistoryofsomemoultingbirdsindicatethattheyover-winterlocallyandothersmostlikelywintersomewhereelseinMorocco(i.e.northoftheSahara).Therefore,wereportthediscoveryofa(partly)sedentarypopulationofanasyetundescribedtaxonofReedWarblersinSmirmarshes,Morocco.TherelationshipofthesetotheEurasianA.scirpaceusandAfricanA.baeticatusReedWarblersremainstobeinvestigated.
