【 摘 要 】
Basedontheanalysisofsoilarchingeffectofcantileverpilesupportedtoslope,theexistenceconditionsofsoilarchandsuitablepilespacingwerepointedout.itisconcludedthattheshapeofsoilarchiscatenarybyMeansofthemechanicalcharacteristicsofthesoilarch;themaximumpilespacingisconcludedbytheequilibriumconditionofforcesonthefootofarchingandthearchcrownsectionwasmeetingtheMohr-Coulombcriterion,therelationshipbetweenthecohesiveforce,frictionandsoilarchspanisstudied.Itisprovedthatsoilarchspanisgrowingasfollowtheincreasesofthecohesiveforceandfriction.Inaddition,thechangeofthehigharchwasdecreaseswiththeincreaseofsoilloadbetweenpiles,besidesassociatedwithpilespacing.Finally,thecalculationformulaareverifiedbyanengineeringexample,itisconcludedthatthesuitablepilespacingcomplywithengineeringpractice.
