【 摘 要 】
Accidentalexplosionscancreatesufficienttremorstodamageabovegroundandsubstructuresoverawidearea.Inthisstudy,effectsofvaryingdegreesandimpactofsurfaceaccidentalexplosionsonburiedpipeswereobserved.Steelandconcretepipesburiedinloosesand,densesandandundrainedclayat1mdepthbelowthegroundsurfaceweremodelled.Loadparametersduetosurfaceaccidentalexplosionsweredeterminedforvariousexplosivesrangingfrom10kgTNTto250kgTNTusingUnifiedFacilitiesCriteria(2008).AnalysiswascarriedoutonsimulatedmodelsusingtimeintegratedtechniquesinABAQUS/Explicit,afiniteelementnumericalcode.Observedparametersatthecrown,invertandspring-lineofburiedpipesaredisplacement,pressure,stressandstrain.Fromtheresults,remarkableresponsewasobservedatsurfaceaccidentalexplosionloadsmagnitude(eitherside-onoverpressureorpeakreflectedpressure)of10kPaandabove.Forexplosiongeneratingpressureloadsoflessthan10kPa,noresponsewasobservedinthepipesburiedinthegroundmediaconsidered.
