【 摘 要 】
Thispaperpresentsanexperimentalstudyevaluatingtheeffectofpolypropylenefiberonmechanicalbehaviourofexpansivesoils.Theinitialphaseoftheexperimentalprogramincludesthestudyoftheeffectofpolypropylenefiberonmaximumdrydensityandoptimummoisturecontentwithdifferentfiberinclusions.Dynamiccompactiontestshavebeenconductedonanexpansivesoilsamplewith0%,0.5%,0.75%,and1%polypropylenefiberadditions(bydryweightofthesoil)andsampleshavebeenpreparedwiththesamedrydensitystatically.Thesecondphaseoftheexperimentalprogramfocusesontheunconfinedcompression,tensileandone-dimensionalswellbehaviouroftheunreinforcedandreinforcedsoilsamples.Finallyitisconcludedthatmitigationofexpansivesoilsusingpolypropylenefibermightbeaneffectivemethodinenhancingthephysicalandmechanicalpropertiesofsubsoilsonwhichroadsandlightbuildingsareconstructed.
