【 摘 要 】
References(6)Cited-By(3)The effects of vessel size and vessel aspect ratio on the formation of the air-water hollow profile under microgravity were experimentally evaluated. We investigated these parameters at various rotating speeds of vessels and variable water/vessel volume ratios using the drop towers at the Japan Microgravity Center and the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology Hokkaido Center. The discriminate of the formation of the air-water hollow profile could be determined by the aspect ratio of the vessel, the modified Weber number and the volume ratio of water/vessel.
