References(27)Cited-By(2)Measurement of the heat transfer coefficient at the vessel wall was made in a jet mixing vessel with rotating nozzle around the vessel axis. The observed heat transfer coefficient was correlated with power input per unit volume, and the resultant correlation equation at low nozzle rotation speed roughly agreed with that for an agitated vessel with anchor. The heat transfer coefficient at higher nozzle rotation speed decreased with increase of the nozzle rotation speed (i.e., the innerr shaft rotation speed) and approached that for coaxial rotating cylinders. Baffle plates in the jet mixing vessel did not improve the heat transfer coefficient.
