【 摘 要 】

A 39 year-old African-American male with past medicalhistory significant for uncontrolled hypertension presentswith a sudden onset of weakness and numbness on theleft side of his face, left arm, left leg, and right leg whilewatching television twenty hours prior to presentation.At that time, the patient did have a mild headache. Thepatient initially thought that it was positional, but soonrealized that he could not move the affected extremitiesat all. He also began to have some difficulty swallowingand minor difficulties with speech as well.
