【 摘 要 】

Background and Objective:The effect of the hormonal changes associated with menopause on the serum lipid levels may play an important role in most cardiac related disorders associated withmenopause. The aim of the present study was to investigate the correlation between the lipid profile and estrogen level in premenopausal and postmenopausal women. Conclusion:Estrogen may be the protective factor that is causing lesser incidence of these diseases in premenopausal women. "
