【 摘 要 】

A systematic search through experimental data for the nuclei ^12-14Chas been made to identify states which have triangular shape. These states are oblate andmust have strong a-clustering. They are expected to formrotational bands with high moments of inertia. The properties of these states arediscussed on the basis of a-clusters and neutron orbitals.
