The effect of periodic perturbations on the dynamics of oscillatory chemical system has been extensively studied both theoretically and experimentally in the last decade1-4, mainly on the famous Belousov-Zhabotinskii reaction, the cerium ion catalyzed oxidation of malonic acid by bromate.
