【 摘 要 】
This paper presents atheorem on universality on orthogonal polynomials/random matricesunder a weak local condition on the weight function $w$.With a new inequality forpolynomials and with the use of fast decreasing polynomials,it is shown that an approach ofD. S. Lubinsky is applicable. The proof worksat all points which are Lebesgue-points bothfor the weight function $w$ and for $log w$.
