【 摘 要 】

A new construction of the ordinary residue of differential forms isgiven. This construction is intrinsic, ie, it is defined withoutlocal coordinates, and it is geometric: it is constructed out of thegeometric structure of the local and global cohomology groups of thedifferentials. The Residue Theorem and the local calculation thenfollow from geometric reasons.
