【 摘 要 】

In this paper, the modified extended tanh method is used to construct new exact traveling wave solutions of the (3+1)-dimensional Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation. The modified extended tanh method is one of most direct and effective algebraic method for obtaining exact solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations. The method can be applied to nonintegrable equations as well as to integrable ones.
