【 摘 要 】

In this paper, the Optimal Homotopy Asymptotic Method (OHAM) applied to derive solution of eighth order linear and nonlinear boundary value problems. It is observed that OHAM is independent of the free parameter and we get better accuracy. Unlike other analytic methods it gives extremely good results for even large domain. Furthermore, we can easily adjust the convergence domain and control the convergence region. As a result it is concluded that OHAM show fast convergence, simple applicability and easy to implement.
