【 摘 要 】

The objective of this article was identify the difficulties of the management performance indicators on the automotive industry quality area, aiming to seek opportunities for improvement of the systematic analysis of problems analysis. For conducting the research, was used the case study, with qualitative and quantitative approach and semi structured interviews with three CEOs and seven analysts of quality area. The main results of this research showed that the main difficulties are related with the description of the problematic situation, on the effectiveness of the actions about the main cause, on the knowledge of the impact generated by them in the other areas and on the validation of the data collected on the process. Became evident the utilization of the quality tools at the management of the indicators impacts directly on the orientation to an effective monitoring, on the definition of a logical flux of the activities and on the formation of a consensus of the multidisciplinary team. Through the application of MBF (Management By Facts) tool, the analysis of the situation keeps aligned to the strategic objectives of the organization, contributing to the reduction of waste and the costs involved on process.
