【 摘 要 】
A comprehensive study of the impact of new-physics operators with different Lorentz structures on decays involving the ð‘ → ð‘ ðœ‡+ ðœ‡- transition is performed. The effects of new vector– axial vector (VA), scalar–pseudoscalar (SP) and tensor (T) interactions on the differential branching ratios, forward–backward asymmetries ($A_{ext{FB}}$ ’s), and direct CP asymmetries of $ar{B}_{s}^{0} → ðœ‡^{+} ðœ‡^{-}, ar{B}_{d}^{0} → X_{s} ðœ‡^{+} ðœ‡^{-}, ar{B}_{s}^{0} → ðœ‡^{+} ðœ‡^{-} ð›¾, ar{B}_{d}^{0} → ar{K} ðœ‡^{+} ðœ‡^{-}$, and $ar{B}_{d}^{0} → ar{K}^{*} ðœ‡^{+} ðœ‡^{-}$ are examined. In $ar{B}_{d}^{0} → ar{K}^{*} ðœ‡^{+} ðœ‡^{-}$, we also explore the longitudinal polarization fraction $f_{ext{L}}$ and the angular asymmetries $A_{ext{T}}^{2}$ and $A_{ext{LT}}$, the direct CP asymmetries in them, as well as the triple-product CP asymmetries $A_{ext{T}}^{ext{(im)}}$ and $A_{ext{{LT}}^{ext{(im)}}$. While the new VA operators can significantly enhance most of the observables beyond the Standard Model predictions, the SP and T operators can do this only for $A_{ext{FB}}$ in $ar{B}_{d}^{0} → ar{K} ðœ‡^{+} ðœ‡^{-}$.
