【 摘 要 】

This is the third year of existence of the Philippine Information Technology Journal since its foundation in 2008 by the Philippine Society of Information Technology Educators (PSITE) and the Computing Society of the Philippines (CSP). PITJ committed to the publication of peer-reviewed articles which are either contributed or selected from national conferences. In three years, PITJ witnessed the increase of interest of researchers nationwide to contribute to the Computing and Information Technology research and quality instruction. We welcome four new Associate Editors in the seven-member PITJ Editorial board, Dr. Ma. Mercedes T. Rodrigo of Ateneo de Manila University, Dr. Rachel Edita O. Roxas of De la Salle University Manila, Dr. Vladimir Y. Mariano of University of the Philippines Los Ban ̃os, and Dr. Randy S. Gamboa of University of Southeastern Philippines. I am looking forward to a productive work with them in the coming years, alongside the remaining Associate Editors, Dr. Jaime D.L. Caro of University of the Philippines Diliman and Dr. Gregg Victor D. Gabison of the University of San Jose – Recoletos. We intend to attract Filipino researchers in the areas of Computing and Information Technology to publish in PITJ their recent findings and contributions to the field. This issue features two invited papers and six selected peer-reviewed papers from the 8th National Conference on Information Technology Education (NCITE2010). Finally, we take this opportunity to thank the outgoing Editor in Chief, Dr. Rafael P. Saldan ̃a, and Associate Editors Dr. Caslon L. Chua and Dr. Emmanuel M. Lagare for their valuable contributions to the establishment of PITJ.
