【 摘 要 】
A kinematic study of vertical aerial photos taken between 1952 and 2008 reveals that the Leucate-Port-la-Nouvelle lido (Aude) has prograded of about 15 % in width. A sedimentological analysis allows us to explain this accretion caused by drift and wind which supply abundant nearshore bars. In spite of this progradation, frequent floodings, favoured by sea level rise (2.5 to 3 mm-1.year), occur between the present coastal bar and the Roman barrier.
