【 摘 要 】

In the context of rescue excavation undertaken by the French mission « Jawf-Hadramawt », an open sanctuary of the 4th millennium BC was discovered in what is nowadays the village of Rawk (Wādī ‘Idīm). The study of the material found on the surface or extracted from the excavation presents a description of anthropomorphic statuary and brings additional information about funeral rites in this pre-historic period.
