【 摘 要 】
Lasersintern (LS) has been established as a generative technique for layer manufacturing of models and prototypes from CAD data. The possibility of constructing complex components without the use of tools promises large potential for the future manufacturing of single pieces and small batch series. However, since the available technology implies a strong variability in the quality, the question about the efficiency in principle of the procedure has to be asked. The Department for Production engeneering at Duisburg-Essen University, owning a Sinterstation 2000, has investigated the following problem: Which quality is achievable, if conventional laser material with given equipment technology is used?
