【 摘 要 】
The purpose of this paper is to analyze ethics and value domains of the STS contents in the chemistry parts of secondary science textbooks developed under the 7th national curriculum. The results indicated that the science textbooks developed under the 7th national curriculum contained more various categories than those developed under the 6th national curriculum. Each of the STS contents was further categorized into ¡®knowledge¡¯, ¡®skill¡¯, ¡®ethics and value¡¯, and ¡®action¡¯ domains. The results showed that most of the STS contents belonged to ¡®knowledge¡¯ domain, and there were few cases for ¡®ethics and value¡¯ and ¡®action¡¯ domains. Most of them were used for reading materials.
