Research projects of the groups from the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Paraíba

【 摘 要 】

The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Paraíba (IFPB), which is part of the Brazilian educational system, has the scientific and technological development as its main activity, with its human resources organized in groups. As it is, at the moment, experiencing the information and knowledge era, its scientific community requires professors/researchers to develop research presenting its results, the pertinence and the relevance of its actions through scientific production, products, processes and technological services. By means of knowledge produced, spread and democratized, the integrated and sustainable development is built. Furthermore, it is still a way to inform society about the used resources. Identifying and presenting the projects indicators of the research groups and institutions which foster and fund such projects are the aim of the research´ results. The data was collected from the Lattes Platform, in the period that goes from 1994 to 2008. These groups present, in the mentioned period, six cancelled projects, 106 which were concluded and 108 are still being developed. Some well-known institutions have been funding the developed projects, including the students´ participation. Such indicators corroborate the groups´ activities aiming at the researches´ renewal and even promoting funding by the public agencies of foment.
