【 摘 要 】

This treatise attempts to de. ne contemporary problems in the development of the cultural landscape in the Slovenian countryside. These problems have been caused by different developments during three phases of socio-economic land use in Slovenia. Among the problems discussed are how to make good a de. ciency of land structure, how to deal with limited natural resources for modern farming, and how to hinder deepening of regional differentiation in the economic development of Slovenia, which is connected also with the decay ofthe cultural landscape in farming areas in the periphery.
