【 摘 要 】

After Slovenia gained its independence, and during the period of transitionto the market economy, the predominantly wooded area of the Loški Potokmunicipality was strongly affected by the decline of the majority of indus-trial plants in the region. Due to its remoteness, the area does not offermany work possibilities. The paper offers several suggestions for alleviat-ing this situation and lists concrete proposals for further development ofthis municipality.
