【 摘 要 】
This is the case of a patient presenting with Fournier gangrene of necrotizing fasciitis. After admission in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) he undergoes an early surgical treatment (incision and wide drainage of the whole involved zone as well as debridement of necrosis zone); a pus sample was took for microbiologic study and a immediate antibiotic treatment was started (Ceftriaxone, Amikacin and Metronidazole). Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Escherichia coli (sensitive to Ceftriaxone and Amikacin) were identified as the causative agents of process. As adjuvant treatment ten sessions of hyperbaric chamber were applied and twelve dose of lyophilized recombinant human growth factor with infiltration into the surgical zone for the third intention closure.
