【 摘 要 】
Flow forming is a promising process forthe manufacture of certain critical armament components. This paperdeals with the statistical design of an experiment carried out by theauthors while flow forming different sheet metals employing variouscombinations of controlling variables in order to arrive at a functionalrelationship between flow formability (R/sub f/} and controllingvariables. The relationship, established has been tested for itsadequacy by proper analysis of variance (ANOVA). Response surfacediagrams for a given R/sub f/ in the case of three specific materialsare presented.
