【 摘 要 】
The problem of multipath propagation encountered in radar tracking oflow elevation targets in the presence of reflections from the sea isaddressed. A detailed model of the multipath propagation consideringboth the specular and the diffuse reflection components in targettracking using passive radars is established. Based on the geometry ofthe specular and the diffuse reflections, expressions for the reflectioncoefficient and the scattering field are derived. Experiments in theoutfield indicate that the model proposed agrees with the test datawell, which can provide an accurate prediction of the angle measurementerrors in the presence of multipath effects.
