【 摘 要 】
Experiments were performed, whereincylindrical projectiles made of hardened steel were impacted oncommercially available aluminium plates at different angles. Projectileswere of 12.8 mm diameter and plates were of 0.81 mm, 1.52mm and 1.91mmthicknesses. Based on the experimental results, an analytical model hasbeen developed to predict the residual velocity of the projectile andthe ballistic limit of the plate.
