【 摘 要 】

The self-consistent Eulerian rate-typeelastoplastic model based on the logarithmic rate isused to studyfinite bending of a compressible elastic-perfectly plastic rectangularblock. It isfound that an explicit closed-form solution for thistypical inhomogeneous finite deformation , mode may be available in ageneral case of compressible deformation with a stretch normal to thebending plane, where the maximum circumferential stretch at the outersurface serves as anIndependent parameter. Expressions are given forthe bending angle, the bending moment, the the outer and the innerradii, and the radii of the two moving elastic-plastic interfaces, etc.Theexact stress distribution on any circumferential cross-section ofthe deformed block is accordingly determined.
