【 摘 要 】
The designers of a mobile cellular system must evaluate the possible configurations of thesystem components and their characteristics in order to develop a system with greater efficiency. Theuseful parameters to estimate performances of the system are voice quality, frequency spectrumefficiency and grade of service (GOS). In this study, a scheme proposed to reduce the lost calls andinterruptions due to the outage channels is tested in the traffic dependent outage rate wireless cellularsystem. In this scheme no call is dropped but could be delayed. The performance parametersconsidered for this study is the probability of delay and the mean waiting time for priority and non-prioritycalls for non-preemptive type. The system is evaluated for different conditions and the resultsare discussed.
