【 摘 要 】

Problem statement: A Genetic Algorithm (GA) used here to find exact or approximatesolutions to optimization and search problems. Genetic algorithms are a particular class of evolutionaryalgorithms that use techniques inspired by evolutionary biology such as inheritance, mutation,selection and crossover. Approach: GA is a method for search and optimization based on the processof natural selection and evolution. In this approach, several modifications are done for effectiveimplementation of GA to solve the Electric Power Service Restoration Problem. Results: The problemstatement includes all the objectives and constraints required for a practical supply restoration scheme.GA is used here to obtain the better result compared with other methods.
