【 摘 要 】
Problem statement: Developing software using graphical interfaces has grown rapidly inrecent years. Products developed by, using GUI have to be tested for the reliability and quality of thesoftware. The objective of software testing is to reveal all the errors in the desired software withminimum cost. GUI application comprises of several controls for user interaction and each control hasseveral properties assigned to it. Even though default attributes and actions are available for thecontrols, some performance problems exist, which are undetected. Approach: The VBCT tool isdeveloped to extract the incorrect statements in the code and various algorithms are written fordetecting the logical errors in the GUI Applications. Results: This study addresses the errors in thevisual applications and alerts the developer to modify the source code. This study performs structuraland behavioral testing for GUI based applications. Conclusion: Identifying and removing theundetected logical errors in GUI based applications has been developed. Both white box and black boxtesting is attempted. The written test scripts, work in a robust manner to detect the faults.
