【 摘 要 】

The distribution and difusion of Muslims is similar to that of other immigrant groups, caracterized by inter-ethnic or diferential dispersion, and juxtaposition within urban built-up areas. However, there appears a greater tendency towards aggrupation among Muslims. In the case of centralities and micro-centralities, the dominance of Muslim retail and service outlets is very pronounced. Among centralities, typologies vary, ranging from those that are open to all classes of people, to those that are closed, that is directed towards people from their own cultural ambit. Among urban and rural micro-centralities, the Muslim dominance is much more pronounced.
