【 摘 要 】
References(8)Cited-By(4)We propose in this paper an improved method for binarizing document images by adaptively exploiting the local image contrast. The proposed method aims to overcome the common problems encountered in low quality images, such as uneven illumination, low contrast, and random noise. Experiments have been conducted and the results are presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
