【 摘 要 】
Aerobiological studies are important to understand distribution, ecology and possible affectation of rice pathogenic fungi. Wind is one of the most important factors in the dispersion of these fungi. That is the reason why some different samplers have been designed to collect airborne fungi in order to identify them. Some of rice phytopathogenic fungi are Pyricularia grisea, Bipolaris oryzae, Gerlachia oryzae, Sarocladium oryzae, Gaeumannomyces graminis, Cercospora oryzae, Alternaria padwickii and some species of Phyllosticta and Curvularia genus. The majority of these fungi has been reported in several aerobiological studies done in outdoor environments around the world. A good sampling method could bring information of the air distribution of phytopathogenic fungal spores affecting rice crop. This information together with the meteorological data could help to understand the ecology of these fungi and the rice disease epidemiology, as well as to apply predictive models.
