【 摘 要 】

Wigandia brevistyla X.Cornejo is segregated here fromW. pruritiva Spreng.due to its characteristics. Very short styles, shorter corollas and a distinctive allopatric distribution, that is restricted to the central mountain range (Cordillera Central) in the Dominican Republic.
