【 摘 要 】
The present work aims to understand the perception of the employee or prospective employee on the new regulation of the notice (Law 12.506), published on October 13, 2011, which increases up to 90 days prior notice that the employer shall give the employee, in case of dismissal without cause. We emphasize that the prior notice provided for in our Constitution of the Federative Republic of Brazil - CRFB/88 which was at least 30 days, which depended on regulation occurred only after 23 years later. The prior notice provides a minimum time for which the employee may seek a new placement in employment or the employer may seek a replacement for the employee leaving. In this context, the research was aimed at a descriptive and exploratory analysis of this current theme, through literature research and field research with application of questionnaires to 30 students of the Faculty Anhanguera of Brasilia, campus Águas Claras - DF, by courses of Law, Nursing and Education. The results showed that the new law brings new expansion of freedoms employee.
